
Bio
Ju Yun received her BFA in Painting from the Corcoran College of Art and Design and is currently based in Chantilly, Virginia, where she operates her art studio. Her work is deeply influenced by her 30 years of experience teaching art.
Ju Yun is Korean American artist who tirelessly experimental, her most recent pieces display a new level of technical skill and conceptual depth about transitioning between traditional Korean art and wholly contemporary subjects. She exhibited in the US and abroad including solo exhibits at the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington and the Susquehanna Art Museum (Harrisburg, PA), Springfield Museum of Art (Springfield, Ohio) and Concourse Gallery at VisArts (Rockville MD).
Additionally, she has participated in numerous group and juried museum exhibitions at venues such as the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art (Marin, CA), the Taubman Museum of Art (Roanoke, VA), the William King Museum of Art (Abingdon, VA), the CICA Museum (Seoul, South Korea), and the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (Virginia Beach, VA).
